Civida Appoints Clarence Wong as Vice President: Facilities Management and Development, Effective August 10, 2026
July 2, 2026 (Edmonton, Alberta) — Civida is pleased to announce the appointment of Clarence Wong as Vice President: Facilities Management and Development, effective August 10, 2026.
Clarence joins Civida with more than 25 years of leadership experience in community infrastructure, planning, development, and asset management. His career has spanned municipal government, the public sector, and private consulting, where he has led complex initiatives that support sustainable growth, responsible asset stewardship, and resilient communities.
He has held senior leadership positions with Parkland County, the City of Edmonton, and Invistec Consulting, leading planning and development, growth strategy, infrastructure, and real estate portfolios. Earlier in his career, he worked with the Province of Alberta, building a strong technical foundation in infrastructure planning and asset management.

Clarence holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Construction Management and is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered with APEGA.
In his new role, Clarence will provide executive leadership for Civida’s infrastructure, development, and asset stewardship portfolio. He will oversee development opportunities, capital renewal, and long-term asset planning to ensure Civida’s housing portfolio remains safe, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of residents and the communities it serves.
