Civida welcomes three new members to its Board of Directors
Edmonton, AB – Civida is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Claudia Roszell, Janet Riopel, and Leeann Lim.
These appointments strengthen Civida’s Board with deep expertise in governance, finance, risk management, economic development, and community leadership. Together, they bring decades of experience across the public, private, and non‑profit sectors, supporting Civida’s mission to advance safe and affordable housing for Edmontonians.
Claudia Roszell, CPA, ICD.D, is a retired Vice President of Risk Management and Chief Internal Auditor at TELUS, where she led enterprise risk, audit, compliance, and governance functions. Claudia brings extensive board experience and a strong focus on accountability, ethical leadership, and risk oversight.
Janet Riopel, ICD.D, is a highly respected executive and board leader with broad governance experience across education, economic development, community foundations, and private enterprise. She is President and CEO of TREYL Communications Inc. and is widely recognized for her leadership in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and organizational governance.
Leeann Lim, CPA, CA, MBA, is Chief Financial Officer at Cameron Corporation. She brings strong financial leadership experience across real estate and investment sectors, including pension fund and REIT environments. Leeann is also an active community volunteer and board member, reflecting her commitment to giving back to the community.
